Prior to creating Rainbow Video Inc., in 1982, Richard was a computer
programmer. This programming background has enabled him to move easily into
creative digital media. The creative and communications skills that Richard has
fine tuned through the years doing high quality video productions translate into
projects that are well organized, visually appealing, and effective.
Susan Benvenuto Kretchmer, Producer and award winning writer joined
Rainbow Video in 1991. As Project Manager/Producer, Susan is responsible
for budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and keeping the client informed on the
progress of the project. She is highly detail oriented and organized. Susan has
produced projects for such clients as Cadbury Schweppes, Atlantic Health System,
The North Ward Center, Industrial Services Enterprises, Bellcore, and The Seeing
Eye, to name a few.
In addition to producing, Susan is an experienced scriptwriter and script doctor
who is able to organize information and communicate it effectively to the target
audience. She is also adept at writing questions for “interview style” video
programs in which the interview responses tell the story without any voice over
narration. Her talent for keeping track of the many details of a project and her
ability to communicate with the client and creative team keeps the project
focused on the client’s objectives, ensuring a successful end result.
Prior to joining the company she was a Production Manager for 6 monthly
magazines at a large publishing company in New York. After being promoted to
Production Director, she supervised the layout, schedules, and production of 21
magazines, trained new department employees, and acted in a customer service
capacity between the production staff of 20 and clients, vendors, and other
departments of the company. Magazine production work is very detail and deadline
oriented. This background has prepared Susan to play a key role as Rainbow’s
Project Manager/Producer for the past 20 years.
